21st Sep saw Sigala take to the stage at Heaven for a brilliant mash up between a live show (complete with full band, vocalists & special guests Imani & John Newman) and an inspired DJ set (complete with giant beach balls being dropped on the crowd) which had every hand in the air.
2 of Sigala’s singles are now platinum, his debut ‘Easy Love’ and now 2nd release ‘Sweet Lovin’ !
We’re gearing up for his 5th release in the lead up to Christmas (sorry for the C word)…

The gorgeous IV Rox ladies team up with Majestic on their 2nd single ‘I Heard Love’ which mixes classic house backing with their strong vocals & a pop hook.
The video has been received brilliantly at TV with Box Plus Network, Clubland TV, Now TV, Flava & Sub TV all adding in the first week & and plays coming from 4 Music, The Box, Box Fresh also.

One of the hottest underground record of the year ‘Dance For Me’ started attracting millions of online views (Over 8 million for the DANCE video
video to be precise) & was playlisted by 1Xtra before being picked up by Universal label AATW.
The collaboration of the 2 of the biggest African artists is still on 1 Xtra A list, plus playlisted on Kiss Fresh & getting specialist support from R1 & Capital Xtra.
The Official Video has also had over 4 million views & been playlisted on AKA, Clubland TV, Kiss TV, Flava, & MTV Base and currently sitting at #47 in TV Airplay Chart.
With both Eugy and Mr Eazi nominated for Mobo Awards too – watch out for lots of ‘alkahida’ and ‘dab’ ( the dance moves from the video) at this years show…

British artist & producer Digital Farm Animals scores his biggest solo release to date with Cash Cash & Nelly, selling over 100,000 copies of ‘Millionaire’.
The track has been on R1 playlist for 8 x weeks now ( 4 x of these on the A list) and the video has peaked at #11 in the TV Airplay Chart and is playlisted on all TV Playlist groups and shows no sign of slowing down…(types TV report no 13 😉

Well, this is exciting…Kung’s huge international hit ‘This Girl’ (Vs Cooking on 3 Burners) has entered the Shazam Hall Of Fame, with over 10 million Shazams!
Follow up single ‘Don’t You Know’ with the gorgeous vocal of Jamie N Commons also hit No 1 in France, and Top 10 iTunes in many countries..
& another single is about to drop – news on the video soon 🙂

In 2016, Chilli Social devised a social media campaign called #TagYourLocal, concentrating on our home town of Whitstable.
The idea was simple, it was about encouraging local people (including local businesses) to share positive reviews or experiences of local shops, restaurants, events, trades or venues on social media, using the hashtag #TagYourLocal (also @ in the business if on Twitter or Instagram, or tagging the business if on Facebook).
We knew positive world-of-mouth can be invaluable (you never know who will see & be inspired to pay a visit, and how far a Retweet or a share will travel) and wanted to create a way to marshall that positivity onto social media to help support local businesses & the community.
We wrote a Blog explaining the concept (which received 172 x link clicks – source bit.ly ), created visual content in the form of ‘postcards’ to our town featuring local businesses, identified local influencers to help share our message. and engaged with them over 3 x months.
It was received brilliantly and used by local people and businesses alike. In the 3 x month campaign period it had 211 x contributors and a reach of over half a million people (577,568 to be exact – source Hashtracker) and that’s just Twitter!

As well as creating a successful local campaign to boost local business, our secondary aim was to raise awareness of Chilli Social locally. This was also a great success, on Twitter we gained 150 x local business followers, & won 2 x local contracts directly from the campaign in the form of ongoing social media management, and a commission to produce creative social media campaign ideas. The campaign also led to us doing some social media training with 3 x small business owners.
So all in all, some great tangible successes from a carefully planned & targeted campaign idea.

We recently designed and ran a great social campaign for a local Whitstable restaurant, the East Coast Dining Room.
The brief was a gentle brand awareness campaign, to remind locals (& those from nearby towns) what The East Coast Dining Room is all about, and raise awareness of some of their menus such as the weekday set lunch for £12.95 & their monthly supper club for £28 pp.
We came up with a theme of enjoying life’s simple pleasures, including the local attractions of the beach, the sea, sunsets, fresh local produce, tied in with the ultimate simple pleasure of eating out with family, friends and loved ones. Inspired by the series of vintage ocean liner posters hang in the restaurant, we designed a hashtag that encompassed the theme, the local area, the restaurant’s name :- #EastCoastJoys.
We wrote a 2 part blog outlining some of ECDR’s favourite #EastCoastJoys and included other local businesses within this (later @mentioning them in posts lining to the Blog), created visual content to support the theme and also ran a series of cooking tips to add value to followers.
Our aim was to increase impressions on Twitter, and we took those from 2.2k a week to a weekly high of 26.6k & a total of 254k over 3 x months (source Twitter analytics).
Our secondary/supporting platform was Facebook, with only nominal posting combined with some carefully boosted posts & crafted ads. We achieved a reach of 27,358k over the 3 x months (source Facebook Insights).
Other metrics of note were:
256 x website visits (directly from social media)
Increased Twitter followers – from 850 – 1045
Increased Facebook Likes – from 172 – 343
We also received a live booking for lunch on Twitter (in direct reply to a tweet about set lunch) and started to receive great messages on social about about the restaurant – see below examples:

We knew this was going to be one of THE summer tunes as soon as we heard it…
Kungs Vs Cooking On 3 Burners ‘This Girl’ peaked at #2 in the UK Official Singles Chart (only help off the No 1 slot by Mr Justin Timberlake) and is now a certified Platinum selling record with over 600,00 sales & streams.
The video peaked at #2 in the TV Airplay Chart also, and #3 in Radio Airplay….
Kungs (pronoucned Koongs) is set to follow this huge worldwide hit with more single & will soon be visiting UK shores..

So Sigma have worked with some pretty awesome artists…Labrinth, Paloma Faith, Ella Henderson, Rita Ora….we were slightly wondering what they’d do next, but never envisaged they were busy writing their next single with…….Take That! (Yes Joe, we’d need a lie down too..)
‘Cry’ has been teased on their Instagram and will be unleashed to the world soon!
We defy you not to be singing it for the rest of the summer…

Chilli were so excited to find out that there was to be a video for Shakka’s Lost Boys EP track “You Don’t Know What You Do To Me“, because even though we know you shouldn’t have favourites it’s, well, a big favourite!
As well as the video being playlisted across AKA, Flava, MTV Base & the Box Plus network, we turned around a super-quick performance for the new C5 show ‘Up Late With Rylan’.
So much more to come from the this brilliantly talented performer and writer, we cannot WAIT…
